Stage two comprised a full on-site conformity audit across the company’s manufacturing and operational functions, assessing controls over fabrication quality, materials traceability, installation supervision, non-conformance handling, and client communication. Lakshmi BEMT successfully completed both stages of the audit process.
The certification strengthens Lakshmi BEMT’s positioning for international project bids and procurement qualification processes in both the Philippines and Australasia, where ISO 9001 certification is frequently a prerequisite for engagement on government and large commercial construction contracts. The certification is valid for three years and subject to annual surveillance audits conducted by GQS to verify ongoing conformance and continual improvement of the QMS.
